I'm intrigued. A quilt image, mosaic, stained glass....
First thought....beautiful old quilt scrap. This fascinating design needs to go into my cart ASAP--can we pre-buy NOW???.

I think quilts too! It sort of reminds me of a patchwork quilt! Love the central star design! Very keen to see more!
So many wonderful theories - I'm leaning towards the quilting one myself but it just gets curiouser and curiouser (as Alice would say)LOL!

It Definitely looks like quilt pattern squares with all the different triangular points, like stars and more points like a compass star in the middle. I love quilt squares and quilts. They are so diverse and fun to do. Paper ones are cut and done like fabric and framed. Gorgeous....Totally happy with the new peak. Can't wait!
Looks like a close up of one of those snowflake photographs by Wilson Bentley. But it's probably a quilt. Very intrigued.
